Lymphatic Therapy
This depends on your surgeon’s recommendations and the type of surgery. Some patients start within 48-72 hours post-op, while others may need to wait a few days to a week.
Your massage therapist will use light, rhythmic strokes to encourage lymphatic fluid movement. Sessions are relaxing and should never be painful. Treatment is focused on areas where fluid tends to accumulate.
The number of sessions varies based on the type of surgery and individual healing response. While some patients benefit from 6 to 12 sessions, others may require ongoing treatments for optimal results. At Recovery Concierge, we reassess your progress after the initial treatment package to determine next steps, and your surgeon may also provide recommendations.
Many patients feel lighter and more relaxed, and notice decreased swelling. You may also need to urinate more frequently as your body eliminates excess fluid.
Drink plenty of water to support lymphatic drainage, engage in light movement if recommended, and avoid excessive salt intake. Wearing compression garments as instructed will also enhance results.
Lymphatic Therapy is generally safe, but some patients may feel slightly tired, or experience increased urination as the body processes fluids. Rarely mild dizziness can occur due to fluid shifts.
Yes! Lymphatic Therapy can be safely combined with deep breathing exercises, gentle movement, and other post-op recovery therapies. Always consult your doctor before starting new treatments.
The swelling duration depends on the surgery type and individual healing rates. It can last anywhere from several months up to a full year. Consistency with Lymphatic Therapy and proper post-op care can help speed the recovery process.
If you experience excessive swelling, increasing pain, redness, warmth, or fluid leakage from your incision, contact your doctor immediately.
Deep breathing promotes oxygen circulation, supports the lymphatic system, and helps prevent complications like fluid retention and pneumonia. Our RC massage therapists are trained to help coach you with proper breathing techniques to encourage better lymph flow and overall relaxation.
Bone Broth Elixirs
Recovery Concierge’s (RC) Bone Broth Elixirs are handcrafted, nutrient-dense elixirs slow-cooked for 24 hours to support post-surgical healing.
The elixirs are handcrafted and slow-cooked for 24 hours. They are made with quality, organic ingredients, specifically using grass-fed Wagyu marrow bones that are antibiotic-free and sourced from local farmers. Medicinal herbs are then infused in the broth.
They are pressure canned at 280 degrees fahrenheit making the shelf stable fo 6 months.Once opened , Once opened, the Bone Broth Elixirs should be kept refrigerated and consumed within 3–5 days.
Recovery Concierge’s (RC) Bone Broth Elixirs are specifically designed to support post-surgical recovery by providing gentle, nutrient-dense nourishment. The primary healing benefits for post-op patients include:
- Reduced Inflammation and Swelling: The nutrient profile helps to naturally reduce
inflammation and swelling post-surgery. - Tissue Repair: The elixirs are high collagen and have moderate protein, which serve as
essential building blocks, promoting tissue repair for optimal healing. - Gut Health & Digestion: Being gentle on the stomach, the broth promotes gut health. The gelatin content
supports the lining of the gut, making it an ideal, easily digestible meal immediately following
surgery. - Immune Support: The broth is formulated to boost immune function, helping the body
recover more effectively. - Detoxification: The elixirs help detoxify the body during the recovery process.
- Hydration and Mineral Replenishment: They provide vital electrolytes and trace minerals,

You might notice some white, floating material. This is emulsified fat and protein, where much of the flavor is concentrated. You have two options:
- For best flavor: Leave it in, heat it up, and enjoy it as is.
- To remove: Filter the broth through a strainer or scoop it out of the mug or pot before
heating.
We used to filter until patients gave us feedback how delicious our broth was unfiltered.

- Serving Size: 8 oz

- Soups and stews
- Braising meats or vegetables
- Cooking rice or grains
- Making pan sauces
You can store your bone broth as follows:
- Unopened: Since it is pressure-canned at high heat, it is shelf-stable for 6 months.
- Opened: Refrigerate & keep it in an airtight container for up to 5–7 days.
Important: Never freeze the broth in glass jars. The liquid expands as it freezes and will break the glass.
